Conversation cards for young people aged 16–19

A lot happens between 16 and 19: upper secondary school, a first job, relationships, a driving licence and big choices about the future. Our conversation cards for young people aged 16–19 make room for the conversations that otherwise get lost in everyday life. The questions are more grown-up than in the 13–16 edition and suit an evening with friends, a car ride or dinner at home.

Three levels – from fun to deep

Level 1 is easy: “Which song describes your year so far?” Level 2 is about friendships, love and dreams. Level 3 asks the big questions about identity, values and the future. You can always say “pass”, and you set the pace yourselves.

How to play

1. Take turns drawing a card and reading it aloud – in Danish or English.
2. Answer the question or do the action.
3. No one loses: everyone wins when we talk.

Why conversation cards for young people?

Young people like to talk about what matters when the setting is right. A card makes it playful and safe, and everyone answers the same question, so no one is put on the spot. The cards are in Danish and English, so they also work in international classes, at boarding school or in bilingual families.
