Conversation cards for friends
Friends mean everything in the teenage years. But even with your best friends, the talk is often about school, series and who wrote what. Our conversation cards for friends give you a fun reason to get to know each other better – at a sleepover, at boarding school, in a summer house or just on a Friday night. The cards are made for teenagers aged 13 and up and are played in a group of 2–6 friends.
Three levels – from silly to honest answers
Level 1 is silly: “Which emoji describes you best right now?” Level 2 is about dreams, memories and what makes your friendship special. Level 3 asks the honest questions about fitting in, being yourself and supporting each other. You can always say “pass”, and no one has to answer anything they do not want to.
How to play
- Take turns drawing a card and reading it aloud – in Danish or English.
- Answer the question or do the action.
- No one loses: everyone wins when we talk.
Why conversation cards for friends?
Good friendships are built on knowing each other – including what is not said in a chat. A card on the table makes it easy to ask about something you would not usually ask, and everyone answers the same question, so no one is left alone. Many cards are small actions like “Give the person on your left a compliment”, so the mood becomes warm and fun. The cards are in Danish and English, so they also suit international classes and friends who speak different languages.
Want to talk with your parents too? See the Teen + parent edition. For one-to-one conversations there are conversation cards for teenagers aged 13–16 and conversation cards for young people aged 16–19.
